PROJECT PROFILE
Purdue University, in the interest of improving the quality of the students’ residence experience, has been over time remodeling existing and building new facilities to provide a wider variety of food choices and dining formats.
Harrison Grillé replaces one of the two former serving-line style dining rooms that served three meals daily from a kitchen shared between them. The consolidation program dictated that one room would be closed and the other room reprogrammed as a retail establishment serving beverages, snacks and light meals after regular dining hours. the kitchen would remain to serve the remodeled facility.
