PROJECT PROFILE

This facility was designed by lead architect, Ratio Architects, to combine the Indiana State Police Forensic Laboratory, Indiana State Department of Health and State Department of Toxicology. As associate architect our scope included the following: coordinated the building envelope, ceilings and vertical circulation elements; coordinated the production of the construction documents with engineers and equipment vendors; monitored construction and assisted contractor with construction issues. Additionally, A2SO4 led the design team through LEED process including low-energy design, reduced heat island effect, reduced water consumption, enhanced indoor air quality, construction waste recycling, and reduced light pollution. This building has received LEED Certification.
